Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I pay my rent online?

    Yes. Please use your resident portal, If you applied online it will be the same login information you created previously. If you need to be invited to the resident portal please contact our office. 

  • Can I pay rent on an App?

    Yes. Please search for the Appfolio Resident Portal in the App or Play Store. Login information will be the same as you have previously created. 

  • Do I need to adjust my Auto-Pay when I renew my lease or go month to month?

    Yes, you will.

  • How can I re-set my resident portal password?

    Click forgot password on the resident portal login

  • How much are Application Fees?

    $50.00 per person over the age of 18; including guarantors

  • When is rent considered late?

    Any payments made on rent after 5:00pm on the 3rd of each month are considered late. Please refer to your lease for more details 

  • I moved out, how long until I receive my deposit back?

    In North Dakota the deposit will be post marked and mailed within 30-days of the lease end date. In Minnesota the deposit will be post marked and mailed within 21-days of the lease end date.

  • Is renters insurance required?

    Yes. You are required to have renters insurance if you live in a property managed by Meridian. This includes providing your updated insurance declarations page on subsequent renewals. Please refer to your lease for more details.

  • How do I submit a maintenance request?

    Please submit a request on your resident portal under the Maintenance Request section. Please note if your using a mobile device we recommend downloading the Resident Portal App that can be found on the App or Play Store under Appfolio Resident. If you have any questions or concerns please email info@mpmfm.com or give our office a call at 701-356-3743.

  • How long do maintenance requests take?

    Maintenance Requests are assigned by the date the work order was submitted and by priority. 

  • How do I determine if a maintenance request is an emergency?

    Emergency maintenance requests are handled 24 houts a day, seven days a week. An emergency exists when the following occurs on or about the premises.  All items must be brought to Management's attention immediately. No person is permitted to do maintenance work unless authorized in writing by Management.


    1) Flooding caused by plumbing breakdown

    2) Back-up for sewer line

    3) Lack of heat in the winter

    4) Damage caused by wind, storm or fire.

    5) Burglary or other serious disturbance (Please contact the police first)

    6) Serious electrical failure or short circuit 

    7) Personal Injury to a resident or guest

    8) Resident Lockout (Subject to charges)

    9) Any Hazardous or dangerous condition that threatens to cause damage to person(s) or property.

  • How do I get a mail key for a community mailboxes?

    Keys for community boxes are held at the post office. Please bring a photo ID and a copy of your lease.

  • How do I forward my mail when moving out?
